How we handle the information you give us, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
1. Who is responsible
The controller of the data processed through this website and in the course of a stay is Luigia Nappo, Via Salita Teglia 4/c, 84010 Furore (SA), Italy — VAT no. 03959421219. Write to privacy@divinomaniero.it for anything concerning your personal data, including the list of our processors. No data protection officer has been appointed, as none is required in our case.
2. What we process
Our systems record, as any web server does, the IP address or domain name of the device connecting, the addresses of the pages requested, the time of the request, the response returned and technical details of the browser and operating system. We use this only to keep the site working and secure and to produce anonymous statistics, and it is erased shortly afterwards, save where it must be kept to establish liability in the event of an offence against the site.
Through the enquiry form, by email, by telephone or by WhatsApp you give us your name, your email address and telephone number, the dates and party size you have in mind, and whatever you choose to write in your message. If you pass on details of the people travelling with you, you are responsible for having their agreement to do so.
Once a booking is made we hold your billing details and payment references, the correspondence about the stay, and the identity documents of everyone staying. We also record any request you make about meals or access, which occasionally reveals something about health — a food allergy, a mobility need. We ask you to tell us only what is needed for us to look after you properly, and we treat it as a special category of data under Article 9, processed on the basis of your explicit consent and only for the duration of the stay.

Giving us the data marked as necessary is what allows us to answer you and to accept a booking; without it we cannot. The newsletter is entirely optional and refusing it changes nothing else. We make no automated decisions about you and we do not profile you.
4. Who else sees it
Depending on what is needed, your data may reach: the travel agency or tour operator through whom you booked; the villa's staff and the local suppliers engaged for a service you have asked for; our accountant and professional advisers; the providers of our email and IT services; our bank and payment providers; and the public authorities, where the law requires it. Everyone acting on our instructions is appointed as a processor under Article 28 and is bound to confidentiality. We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
5. Transfers outside Europe
Some of our providers — Google among them, for email and for website statistics — may process data outside the European Economic Area, principally in the United States. Those transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and, where that does not apply, on the Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. Write to us if you would like the details.
6. Your rights
You may ask us at any time for access to your data, for its correction or erasure, for the restriction of its processing or for it to be handed to you in a portable form. You may object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and you may withdraw any consent you have given, which stops the processing from that point without affecting what came before.

7. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and only those of our people who need it for their work are authorised to see it.
8. Children
This website is not addressed to children, and we do not knowingly collect their data through it. Where children stay at the villa, their identity documents are handled under section 3 like everyone else's, on the responsibility of the adult who books.
9. Cookies
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Some are strictly necessary for the site to work — those we set without asking, because without them there is no site. Others measure how the site is used, and for those we need your agreement.

A banner appears on your first visit, letting you accept all cookies, refuse the non-essential ones or choose category by category. Your choice is remembered and can be changed whenever you like through the cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Refusing analytics cookies limits nothing.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser's own privacy settings — in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge alike, under Settings, Privacy. Doing so affects every website, not only ours.
10. Changes
This policy is in force from the date shown at the foot of the page. We may update it, in particular if the law or our tools change, and the current version is always the one published here.
